Current Favorite Products (For Baby)

When it comes to choosing a product, there are a few things i consider to ensure i pick the right one for my family, especially for Naaya. For example, when i shopping for skincare products for Inaaya, i consider ones that are safe for her delicate skin, the one that are less likely to irritate her skin and more likely to protect it. I got a lot of favorite products that i used for Naaya but here are just some of my review from my favorite products:
  1. Mothercare - All we know (Baby Liquid Talc) Smells so babilicious just like their powder, it can magically transforms from a liquid into a powder when rubbed on inaaya's skin, leaving it soft and smooth. Came with a 125ml size.
  2. Jack n' Jill - Natural Toothpaste I fell head over heels in love with this brand. First, this toothpaste made with organic ingredients, sugar and color free, also no preservatives. I used the  Certified Organic Banana and she loved the flavors. The toothpaste itself looks like a clear gel so you won't find any messy blue paste in the sink.
  3. Mothercare - All we know (Body Lotion) The shape of the bottle is really cute, and i like the smell of the lotion. The lotion is a little bit greasy for me but once its applied on Inaaya’s skin, its stays for long time which makes me happy.
  4. Bebe Roosie - Telon Cream  a telon oil cream containing natural herbs such as eucalyptus oil, anise oil, coconut oil, olive oil, and anti-mosquito formula. Its warmth wrap around the baby's skin. I like to rub it gently on the abdomen, waist, chest, arms and legs. So far, Inaaya can go playing without any mosquitoes interruption.
I'll soon update another favorite products/skin care for baby here :)
Did anyone in here using one of these products? Or do you have any great baby/toddler products or skin care to recommend? Just let me know, and leave a comment here! Have a great day :)

Porridge Soup and Mango Yogtail

Yes, I finally manage to write my very first recipe post!
To be honest, i'm not really good at cooking. I can say, i am much different from my mother who always cook heavenly foods. Since i am married to a man who adores food so much, and i have such a pretty baby girl who needs a variety of healthy food, i think its time for me to learn how to cook properly (No more burnt food, no more salty food). Seriously.
Since Naaya was 1 year old, i've been thinking about including some recipes to my blog page but for some reasons it never happened. Its not even possible to take some pictures when you are still learning to cook and your kitchen looks like a wrecked ship.

Now, while i'm trying to building my confidence in the kitchen and becoming a kitchen goddess, i've decided to add Recipes Post on blog every week! Sounds delicious, huh? :p
Actually, the first menu that i'm going to post here is not really pretty, because it was a lunch packed for school. I'm in a rush so I don't have time to put it on a plate and decorate it.

Left: Porridge Soup
Right: Mango Yogtail

75 g Organic White Rice
800 ml Water
50 g Chicken Fillet, Diced
1 tablespoon Butter (Salted or Unsalted)
2 Garlic Cloves, chopped
50 g Carrots, diced
50 g Green Bean, diced
1 teaspoon Scallions, Thinly sliced
1/8 teaspoon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt, plus more as needed
1 tablespoon Fried Onion

How to Cook:
  1. Cook the rice and water over a medium heat. Once boiling, add Chicken Fillet and Salted Butter, Boil the rice until tender. (Tips: To save your time: Soak the rice overnight. It will tender quicker)
  2. While waiting for the rice, saute garlic in a pan with butter until fragrant, then put it into the rice. Continue stir until the rice has completely broken down and the mixture is creamy. (Tips: The more you stir, the quicker the rice grains break down and the smoother the porridge)
  3. Add Carrots, Green Bean, cooked the vegetables until soft. Add Scallions, Sugar, Sea Salt, and Stir. Garnish with the Fried Onion, and Serve it in a bowl.
100 ml Plain Yoghurt
300 g Mango Arumanis, set aside 50 g, thinly sliced

How to Cook:
In a blender combine the above ingredients. Blend until smooth. Garnish with the Mango Slice. Enjoy!

Hope you guys enjoying this! Let me know if you decide to try this recipe or the other recipes from my blog! I'd love to hear about the result! *wink*

Toddler Hairstyle

I love all of the fun that comes with having a little girl! I love dressing my little girl up, shopping for her and doing her hair. When my little girl was about a year old here hair kinda hit an awkward stage and her sweet baby do's just didn't quite cut it anymore. So... I think i needed to give some new hairstyle a try. After about a month of practicing, I am happy to share some of my favorites with you!

Note: All of the style here were using Elastics. I love using elastics because there are so many different hairstyles you can use them for and it will hold all day.

Travelling with Little One

Traveling with children? Hmm...

After Naaya's first traveling adventure 2 weeks ago, I've gotten to know the dos and donts of being on the go with a toddler. For all parents out there who are planning trips soon and are nervous about any aspect of it, I thought I'd could help you guys by sharing about my experience.

More bubbles, please?

Bubbles, bubbles, bub-bubbly bubbles.I like the parts when they pop in the air.
They're swirling and twirling. Drifting around and round.
Some are big and some are little.
Blowing and blowing.
Oh, I wish that we had moreBubbles, bubbles, bub-bubbly bubbles.
I like the parts when they pop in the air.

Her current favorite thing to do: Blow some bubbles!

Thank you ootdindo & ootdindokids! :)
