Fu Yung Hai Seafood

Recipes-time!
Saya itu selalu semangat kalau sudah harus menulis tentang resep keluarga kecil saya. No, i'm not an expert on Cooking, but as you guys know i love to cook any kind of simple dishes that won't waste my time because there's 2 little food machine in the house (Re: Inaaya and Papa) that needs to be feed.
Kenapa resep yang simple? Karena semua resep yang simple, enak, dan mudah saya rasa cocok untuk hampir semua lapisan manusia di Jakarta dari mulai anak kos, pelajar, pekerja sampai keluarga. Remember, Jakarta itu macet jadi kita perlu save more time, harga bahan pokok juga tinggi akibat kenaikan dollar so we need to save money, dan yang terakhir kalau anda IBU, save tenaga juga sangat penting. It's all about mengirit waktu, uang, dan tenaga :p

Weekend ini saya lagi ngidam (belum isi lagi kok cuma ngidam aja) Chinese Food tapi super duper males untuk keluar ataupun pesan antar. Mau nya stay aja dirumah selagi banyak waktu luang sama Papa dan Naaya. Tiba-tiba juga kepikiran waktu SD dulu sering sekali saya makan malam dengan Fu Yung Hai (sewaktu masih tinggal di Medan) dan itu sudah lama sekali, so i suddenly miss Fu Yung Hai and BOOM! Langsung ubek sana sini dan menemukan satu resep kece dari Daily Cooking Quest, one of my favorite blog too. Beda nya ini sudah saya rombak-rombak sesuai kebutuhan keluarga kecil saya. Let's get started!

Ingredients
Omelette
5 eggs, lightly beaten
300 gram shrimp, peeled and roughly chopped
300 gram crab meat
½ onion, chopped
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon EVOO
Sauce
3 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ onion, sliced
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1½ cup chicken stock
4 tablespoon tomato sauce
1 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon tapioca starch
2 tablespoon water
¼ cup green peas

Directions

Omelette
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl
Heat EVOO in a frying pan.
Pour the egg mixture and cook until the color turn golden brown.

Sauce
Melt the butter in a sauce pot
Saute garlic and onion
Add scallions, chicken stock, tomato sauce, and lemon juice, stir.
Season with salt and sugar.
Bring to a boil, and adjust the taste.
Pour the tapioca starch solution and add green peas, stir until the sauce thickens.
TADAAA! Here's my version of Fu Yung Hai Seafood. If you don't have any kids atau keluarga kamu termasuk yang suka pedas, kamu bisa menambahkan potongan cabai merah besar pada sauce nya, or anything to add the spicy flavor for your tongue. Berhubung kebetulan aku dan suami tidak bisa makan pedas, so i keep it sweet for my whole family. Semoga resep diatas berguna buat kalian yang mungkin langsung laper list post ini :p If you decided to try out the recipe, just leave the link on a comment section below and i would be happy to check 'em out. See you and have a nice Monday!

Looks yummy!
